The search for the perfect DJ for your wedding, or any event, is not one to be taken lightly.  You want someone who is professional, reliable, and reputable.  When you are searching South Jersey for your Wedding DJ, you have a big decision to make.  Nightlife Entertainment has everything you've been looking for in a DJ - experience, professionalism, reputation.  We know how to get the job done. 

The DJ has one of the most important jobs at your wedding reception.  The music is usually the easy part, but it's only about 1/3 of the DJ's job.  It's a lot more than just playing music - it's about orchestrating the entire evening for your guests.  To keep things flowing smoothly, the DJ is the liason between the caterer, the photographer, the videographer, your guests, and most importantly - You.  You can't cut your cake if the photographer is eating dinner and the caterer doesn't have the serving utensils on the table.  You can't have your first dance with your father if he's indisposed.  You can't do the Electric Slide if A) people don't know how to do it, and B) people are sitting in their chairs.  It's the DJ's job to make sure that everyone is where they are needed at the proper time.  That's something that can only be learned through experience, and it's something that's not seen because of professionalism. 

The DJ's job starts months before your wedding.  We typically start preparing your wedding the day you book.  It's a time-consuming process, but the end result has kept us in business since 1999.  It starts by putting together a rough itinerary - a basic order of the things you'd like to happen at your wedding.  Then we associate songs to go with them, based on your likings.  This gradually gets fine-tuned as other things develop.  Then you choose your request list and do-not-play list.  These are important, and are usually a developing entity as time progresses.  There's no point in having a DJ that doesn't have your favorite songs.  Then we plan your introductions.  This can range from a simple "Welcome" to the full pomp-and-circumstance wedding introductions, which have largely maintained their importance over the years.  People look forward to the grandeur of the event, and hey - It's the "official" start to the party!  (All of these and many many more items have been simplified through the development of our Interactive Agenda tools, which we'll get into later).  These items form the basis of your dream reception, and are what the DJ uses to be prepared and prepare other people.
